Wondering if you go to any Casinos in your local area, if you have any.
We have a few Casinos within an hour or so. We have been to the one 35 minutes away once. The other one is about an hour away and went there once. Guess we just like Vegas better.
Everyone thinks we are addicted to gambling, I just tell them not addicted to gambling addicted to Vegas. There is a big difference.

We have boats both north and south of us. Both ways are about 90 miles.
In St. Louis area they have 6 and Peoria has 1.
I am not fond of the boats. Hard to get on a low wager table (always full) and then I sit down to a slot machine and lose money :D OH what FUN!
I go with friends or family just for the fun with them. Last week I went with family and I think out of pure boredom waiting on a place at a table we all sat down at the roulette table. Now 4 of us were there so that should tell you to stay away when it's empty. lol Any way we didn't think it would last to long at $5 a pop. But 1 1/2 hrs later.
One sister won $50 the other lost $20 and brother-n-law lost $20 (I think). I laughed because I walked away even. At least it wasn't to bad for the entertainment.

We have 4 within 1 1/2 hours.

Harrah's Praire Band is our favorite "local" casino.

IT'S NOT THE SAME AS LAS VEGAS!!!!!!

There are like 3-4 boats within an hour from me now. I don't enjoy the boats really at all.

When I was living in Tallahasee, Biloxi was only 4 hours away. Now it is 8, but we are going this weekend.

Biloxi is not Vegas at all, but it is trying to catch up. A nice handful of casinos to chose from, they treat people good, and low stakes.

I can't wait to get back in the casino, it has been about a month :o

Then I am trying to put something together for Vegas in august. I am already 90% set for Vegas in January, so we will see in August

It's been 10 years since we went to the dog track. Last time we went, we brought a dog home with us!!!!!

Greyhounds make great pets!

We lost her last year, the day after Thanksgiving. She was the best dog I ever had. :(

We will have another one some day, but for now it's just the cat.
