These are the nastiest things you will ever eat. :o My husband and I each got one and took one bite and the juice that squirted out of these things just can't be described. We still can taste that one bite just thinking about. YUCK! SDG.......

Whatever you do, avoid the $1 hot dogs at O'Shea's on the strip. They look like a good idea and the price is perfect for a frugal gambler such as myself, however, 40 nasty hot dog burps later you want to swear off hot dogs forever. The place is great for a lite breakfast and the tacos are awesome

Hahahaha,

Not only did I eat one on my second trip to Vegas, I got it with chili and onions, too. Calming the stomach required 4 extra-strength Gaviscon, and let's just say I had my pick of machines for about six hours afterward :orange:

I'll never, ever have one again. But I've "been there, done that"

By the way, the best hot dogs on the Strip are at Barbary Coast - kosher and all beef.

I'll second the dogs at the BC. But they cost $1.25/ea. ($2 with draft beer) and you can get the exact same thing at the Gold Coast or Orleans for 75 cents. Just go to the sports book at any of these and look for the hot dog cart. Don't recommend the 99 cent dog and beer at the Lady Luck-it won't kill you but the gas is enough to drive a Vette from LA to NYC! :eek:

those hot dogs are horrible I had one on my 2nd trip to vegas stayed at the Ho and thought what the hay I am not real hungry but a hot dog sounds good.....Well 3 days later I continued tasting that horrible thing... It is a running joke now whenever we go by the westward ho my husband says lets get a dog........STAY AWAY

I split one with my husband many years ago after getting a coupon that made it too good to pass up, and didn't think it was too bad. I think at the time they were advertised as being all beef.

Then recently decided to tackle one by myself because my husband wanted no part of it, thinking I'd just eat a part of it and toss the rest. After one bite I realized they were no longer all beef. It was so nasty I couldn't eat any more.

Lesson learned: If something looks that nasty, it probably is. Don't fall for it no matter how cheap!

I would not touch one of those things. First thought is "RUN" and very quickly. :blink: I would be afraid of what I might find in one.

Love a good hot dog, but the comments about after taste, PHEW, no thanks.

I would not eat one if it were free.

We ate those a couple times, many years ago. I don't remember it being that bad, but we said it tasted like bologna.
