Dueces Wild is also my best game. I also play a lot of double bonus and some jacks or bonus poker if there is no dueces full pay available.

My #1 favorite is "Let It Ride". VP would be #2. JOB or Dueces Wild.

Only if I am with someone or slammed at the tables do I like to play a slot.

I would say it breaks down like this:

70% slots.....75% quarters.....20% dollars....5%nickles

20% Roulette

10% Keno Keno lounge is our meeting place when we get separated.

I plan on playing more Roulette on my next trip in Sept. Just ordered me a video on playing Roulette. So hopefully I will have a better chance at winning!

Randy,
Yes, I read your TR. I enjoyed it very much. Sounds like you had a great time. :thumb: Who wouldn't have a great time in Vegas. You had some luck playing Roulette. But you could probably use some help.
I just ordered the video but haven't received it as yet. It is called "Roulette-Spinning to Win". I ordered it on Amazon.com. They said they only had 2 copies left and I got 1 of them. I figured I needed all the help I can get. I don't know if this will help me or not but I guess I will find out in Sept. I just started playing Roulette last year. I had went to Vegas with 10 girlfriends one of them was my sister. She always plays Roulette so she taught me a little bit. One of my other friends was going to show me how to play Craps. When we got to the table it was crowed so I told her when there were less people I would let her give me a lesson. That is when I went over to the Roulette table with my sister to learn. I must have been in a learning mood or something. :orange: Anyway my friend started playing craps. I stopped playing Roulette and went over to the craps table only to find my friend up about 5G's. Of course I didn't want to say anything to her as to bring her bad luck or something. I never did learn how to play craps! I believe she lost most of it. But she had a good time and that is why she went. :girl:

Cool.

I love roulette, I probably play that 90% of my time. Others I play some slots and blackjack.

That video might be helpful, it will give you good knowledge of what type of bets can be made and what the payoffs are. If it trys to tell you a "proven system" I would not go by it. Some of the systems seem like they will make sense, but in the long run it is all random. There is no 100% way to beat roulette.

Have fun and enjoy it, that is my motto.

Ask Randy about betting on the red and black, he is the master at it....................... j/k :orange:

Grant,
That "proven system" reminds me of a funny story. My DH and his best friend had a "System" in Atlantic City. There was us and another couple. I would say this was about 20 years ago. The girls went gambling, site seeing on the boardwalk ect. Guys went to [I][COLOR=blue]Gamble. Later that night the guys came stumbling back to the room. Not only did they lose every penny they had brought with them, food money, misc. money, ect. they had also gone to the atm machine and got more money! Needless to say we could have killed them. :( We had split the money before we left home. Now I had to use my money to take care of him for the rest of the trip. Same for my girlfriend. We got them a bag of McDonalds and a 12 pk beer and they sat in the room with a hangover. All because my DH friend had a "system". They just knew they were going to win alot of money. From that day until this day when ever we go to Vegas I hold all the money. I give him his allowance for each day and $20.00 just in case he wants to grab a quick bite. This has worked for the past 20 years. He gladly lets me hold all the money because he knows what he might do if he has too many drinks.
Just thought I would share.

Fun story Ladydancer. These stories are what gambling is all about learning control!!! We all have done some stupid gambling at one time. Most of us learn from it quickly. Your husband learned and has a good system now. He just takes his own personal banker with him. lol

I have always stuck to Black Jack as I like talking to people. Ocasionally I will play a slot but I get bored with them pretty easily. I thoroughly plan on playing craps this time in Vegas. The other times I have been I was just feeling too green to play, besides I did not know how to play at all. I have read the rules and the bets and only plan on playing the pass line and odds. We need to have a poll as to how many times I am going to throw the dice off the table. LOL

Unless I just spontanously turn into Nick Papageorgio, I do not plan on making a killing but I think it will be fun to get worked into the crowd.

That first throw is very intimidating I was so nervous. I thought sure I'd throw them off the table and I knew that was a real no no. So not wanting to have the players and everyone else run me out of the casino. I threw the dice and hit something (don't ask me what) I froze as the dice jumped and smacked the boxman right in the nose!! This was at the Horseshoe and need I say more, most of the players were hard core players. There was dead silence for what seemed a lifetime. Then the boxman whom I had never even seen smile burst out laughing, then the whole table did. They knew they had a novice with them and they started saying it would be the luck of the table. I guess I held the dice long enough for them to do some good. They were all happy and wanted me to shoot when it was my turn and wanted to pass. I still have a moment of panic when I get the dice, remembering that first throw.
So have fun and just throw them out!!! Then Pray!!!!!!!!!!

I just gamble for entertainment but I am notoriously frugal and mentally challenged. Therefore I play single and double deck blackjack along with full pay JOB video poker. Easy games to learn and they pay over 99%. I have gotten "serious" and tried card counting and other Vp games with better than a 100% return but they just tax my poor old brain too much so it;s the easy games for me even if I give up a percent or two. I love craps but I don't play it anymore as I am the worst at it.

Well, I like Black Jack.

I like slots too, but only like the $1 or nickles, never seem to do anything on the quarters.

Now if i have gone other places than Vegas to gamble, the nickles i cant stand, but do good on the quarters. Have played VP

I do want to learn craps to play it is always so exciting to watch.

Charlene, i'll teach ya...its pretty simple
Just pay attn & you'll learn in bout 5 miinutes.

Or, better yet, just roll em & i'll handle the chips.

Ole ole ole 'legend' in vegas...nothing more lucky @ a craps table than a virgin dice-roller.

Yep! That's what saved me the time I hit the Boxman in the nose with the first throw of dice. They started yelling Virgin roller!! LOL

Hey fast trip???? Those reds changed casinos and denomination!!!

I like it, very nice!! :thumb:

Great Story Jean!

it helps to ease the tension of being that 'virgin' roller.

I too am gonna give the old school try this trip.

Does anyone know of a good web site to glean a little knowledge from.

Thanks!
