Has anyone stayed at these hotels and seen any good dollar slot action? These casinos before 9-11 used to have incredible play on their slots and people would seem to always win. anyone have a favorite there?

My husband and I stayed at Monte Carlo when we got married. We did very well there at that time. I played the dollar slots and hit the progressive. Very nice jackpot. It was a bank of there own machines right by the high limit slot area. We have played there different times since than and never could do anything, I think they have really tightend things up. We also usually do pretty good at MGM on there majestic lion machines. Mostly the 50 cent ones though not dollars. SDG......

I haven't stayed at either, but if I had the choice I would stay at the Monte Carlo.

They have a good location, great pool, and not a mile long walk to your hotel room.

Let us know what you decide!

:D We usually stay at the MGM and we love it there. I have been lucky on alot of different denominations of slots and yes dollars is one of those. You just have to be at the right place to the right time..t-54

If I had my choice it would be at the Monte Carlo. A friend of mine staid at that hotel last year. He said the

slots were loose, he won 225 on one quarter, and he went crazy on the craps tables. He also said that the

casino was very clean and that the drink service was excellent. I have never stayed there but he gave me a

definite urge to stay there next trip.

The Monte Carlo has these "Monte Carlo Riches" machines I think they are called for quarters and dollars. They are at the front of the Casino entrance near the elevators and many times all the Players there are waiting for the addendent to pay them off. They only payout like 250 bucks or so as the jackpot. But they hit all day/night long. On one trip a few years back, at least one member of my group hit every day. We would throw 20 bucks in the machine in the afternoon and have spending money the rest of the day.

I stayled at the Monte Carlo last october and it is okay. It is nice to be at a smaller casino but I sure wasn't impressed with the rooms - small and just a step above motel six.
