The most boring at home is Craps, which is weird, since it's the most exciting live. The most exciting at home is multi-strike VP, which I would never play in a casino. Too much volatility.
Do you play anything at home, and are they things you'd actually play at the casino?

I play the free poker games. Just because it is other people playing, the only problem is that it is not real money so people don't play how they normally would.
I do play blackjack on Yahoo! games too.

pokerstars.com is one, this one is free and you download software. You can also pay and play low limits, as low as .02/.04 which you can play forever and not lose much at all.
I use to use pokerroom.com which is also free to play and is online. They are both a little bit different but I prefer pokerstars
* I haven't used any real money yet, but I have been tempted a couple times on pokerstars

How cool! I've always wanted to learn to play 'real' poker with other people. I'd log in too, but I have to sleep and go to Vegas tomorrow. Poor lil me.... :D
Maybe next week we can set up a time and all go in!

I just went over there to see what it looked like...didn't download it cuz I don't play but I still have a question...
Grant, Jeremy...when the screen comes up, do you see cards like on a VP game...how do you know who raises, calls...that kind of poker stuff? Do you see each others hands...is it like "HYPECHAT" with cards? thanks, Greg

Kind of hard to explain without seeing yourself. They have a poker table with seats. You can see your hand only. When it comes to each player it shows if they raise, call, bet or fold. If you win they see your cards unless everyone folds, if you lose you have the option to show your cards or keep them hidden.
